Navantia is Spain’s leading military and civilian shipbuilder. The company was created in 2005 when Izar Group was spun off as an independent company. Navantia builds various naval vessels including OPV, corvettes, frigates, amphibious assault ships, landing ship docks, replenishment ships, submarines and also civilian tankers.
The company is also engaged in other businesses, including:
